You could also:

 * Switch to Mandrake, which ships with several of the same for free (-: or

 * Switch to SuSE, which ships with at least one of the same; or

 * Switch to the Dark Side and use `apt-get install updates'; or

 * Repackage urpmi for RedHat 7.3; or

 * Join Rawhide and see if you can persuade them to include such a tool in
Null when it is baptised with a version number and sent out into the
cold hard world to make its fortune; or

 * Switch to The Borg, click on OK even though it isn't, and hope that
they don't come for your first-born after you agree to the next EULA; or

 * Apply the patches to the SRPMs by hand and use `rpm -bb package.spec' to
   roll your own; or

 * Wrap your comment in <SARCASM> tags as a prophylactic against a flaming
from the Avenging Angel of Death's Sword of Fiery Righteousness; or

 * Follow countless Borg users in the time-honoured (if time _can_ honour
anything) practice of ignoring security alerts and update notifications.

There are probably other options as well.

Cheers; Leon
