    Linux could seriously hurt Microsoft's future growth if it treads on
    more of the software giants turf, according to Microsoft's chief
    financial officer

Methinks this is like mama duck waving `broken' wing at fox in terms of 
protecting Microsoft from nasty EU sanctions, but this coincidence of names 
amused me:

    were to become a phenomenon on the desktop," Connors said in a
