[plug] OO.o- Importing delimeted text files to spreadsheet

Hi all,

I have a text file of point coordinates that I need to import.  It is 
delimeted with a rather unusual delimiter: |

I need to find a way to set the delimeter character & so on, but oo.o 
wants to open it as a text document, rather than importing it to a 
spreadsheet.  How do I get around this?  Cutting and pasting from the 
text document doesn't work- the delimeter is ignored.

Any ideas?
