Modchips appear to be about $50-$60.

USB adaptors appear to be about $20 a throw (i.e. per port), or you can do 
rude surgery on XboX extension cables or the XboX itself.

A VGA adaptor seems to be about $100 plus postage, which could be a financial 
showstopper for a workstation.
