Agree. Followup is vital, PC wrist-slapping is far worse than useless, it 
blurs all kinds of vital boundaries.

However, it is also wrong to provoke someobody until they crack, then beat 
them up bcause they attacked you.

Finally, violent response is seldom the most effective, in any terms. There 
must be scores of other effective, economical, humane responses that the USA 
could make.
