I doubt it would make the slightest bit of difference.
1. People who like posting off-topic like their opinions noticed.
2. Nobody would subscribe because they are guaranteed non-Linux content.
3. Many other reasons.
Easiest solution is to filter OT to another folder for later perusal.
Nearly all people put OT in the subject line and we should all be
thankful for it.
I think I would generally be a little put off with all the OT at the
moment but it is the holidays and some tolerance and leeway should be
given. Besides I am on holidays and I am getting a good idea of the
personalities the Linux community in Perth has. Quite frankly I find it
amazing the cultural difference with one thing in common; Linux.
Be different: Enjoy the differences and the similarities.
Cheers to PLUG cya next year.

Maybe we need a Linux-OT e-loop for all the non linux stuff.
I have actually quite enjoyed these two big discussions that have hapened
and
been highly impressed at the thoughtfullness of everyone in em(even the
dudes
I disagree with), but it's most certainly so OT that it's preposturous.
Perhaps we need an OT list for such things... Thus those not interested dont
subscribe.
What yall think?
Shayne.
