What exactly is "Linux From Scratch"?

I've set up the same with Redhat 7.2 (without qmail yet) and it wasnt
difficult... (but im yet to test the security setup).

The only problems i've had is getting the latest version of DHCPD running so
that DHCP clients update BIND with their requested hostnames. (I just dont
think ive fiddle enough)

Linux From Scratch

and yes it sets up as a very nice firewall. and follow his suggestion,
qmail is a lot easier to get working then sendmail
