"Has someone hacked WASP?"
That's pretty strong language to me, and completely unsuited to this list.

And I am hereby making it publically known that I am putting a stop to it
here. The S/N ration on this list is degrading by the minute, and we have
already lost some very smart (and helpful) people because of that.

Jokes and light banter I don't have a problem with.. After all, this is
supposed to be a "community" - the day this list becomes nothing more than
a boring "question and answer forum" is the day I leave. I do have a
problem with people potentially damaging other people's business without a
good reason.

"the people at WASP" don't read this mailing list.
_I_ read this mailing list, and I contacted WASP in an effort to find out
what is going on.

So take it up with WASP - nobody on this list can fix that for you.

Bret, if you had asked a question such as:
"I just received this message when I tried to send an email. Does this
mean there are problems with my ISP's mailserver or with the remote end?"
you would have received a totally different response, from many people on
this list.

That was many years ago Bret, things have changed. I have realised that
this is not a perfect world, and that to preserve everyone's sanity, some
rules need to be set.

Again, take it up with WASP. This is not an appropriate forum.

I responded to the list to make it clear that these sorts of comments are
not welcome. I do NOT wish to drag this out into a long on-list debate
because again, it is not suited to this list.
