Bret,
You're missing the point.
Your previous post(s) suggests that you want dig for your Red Hat system.
I told you the package you need (bind-utils).
Go to rpmfind.net and get it.
As the root user, rpm -ivh bind-utils-8.2.3-0.6.x.i386.rpm
Use man dig to learn how to use it.
