Hi again,

My librarian friend must be have been sufficiently interested in
OSS/Linux because as part of an open day that he's organising for his
library in May, he'd now like to have a guest speaker come along to
speak about OSS and/or Linux to a public audience. So he mailed me
asking if I could sound PLUG members out about this suggestion. The
details aren't confirmed yet, but would appreciate expressions of interest.
He currently thinking of scheduling the talk for a Tuesday afternoon in
early May. I suggested that if he had it in the evening (the library is
open to 8pm) he might get a more business oriented audience and it may
be easier to arrange a speaker. He's looking into it.
My friend works at the Mandurah public library, so it's a bit of a haul.
But would anyone (tentatively) be interested in doing a presentation on
OSS/Linux in Mandurah during May? Any thoughts, comments, abuse, etc?

sol
