I agree, but I also think that current members are the best publicity - 
member get a member!

Talk to everyone you meet about PLUG.  Hand out the PLUG URL or the 
brochure to anyone who professes interest or says they know someone who 
might be interested.

The PLUG website design is professional and up-to-date, the content timely 
and interesting - thank you skribe :) Perhaps members could advertise the 
PLUG website in a "signature line".
