[plug] Squid problem -- RH7

Hi all

When I try to add the line

cache_dir /var/spool/squid 500 16 256

to my /etc/squid/squid.conf file and restart squid I get the following error

Stopping squid: FATAL: Unknown cache_dir type '/var/spool/squid

I have checked that the cache_dir exists and it does.

Any ideas ?
