The more important question is what do you use it for?

If it's gaming, switches are better than hubs and that's about it :)
Just make sure you get warranty docs with it... (As you would with
anything technical...)

If you're needing more, the usual Q for switches is backbone bandwidth..
eg cheapies have only 1.2Gb/s meaning 12 simultaneous full bandwidth
transfers @ 100BaseT, whereas expensive ones (like Intel) have 2.1Gb/s,
meaning every port on a 16port can be used at full speed without affecting
others. (Roughly - for brevity)
