Hya,

Ok now I c the error...
Only happens when you try to get a dir list...
Mmmm sounds like maybe their uid has gone bung. Or from this little
blurb;

"This is an experimental rsync server, running on Informed Technology's
anonymous FTP server (ftp.it.net.au).  All files are also available by
ftp
(ftp://ftp.it.net.au/) and http (http://ftp.it.net.au/ftp/).  For more

They haven't allowed dir listings yet.
Dunno, maybe fire off an e to 'ftpadm at it.net.au' and ask.
