In Plug and Pray land, the easiest way to change a cards IRQ is to shove
it in a different slot, this forces the IRQ steering to renegotiate the
IRQ. Most modern PC hardware can share IRQ's quite well. If a device
requires it's own IRQ, don't use the bios to force them (it's dodgy)
instead, consult the manual for how IRQ's are assigned, and make sure
that the device which requires it's own IRQ is on a different channel to
other devices.
Unlike the old days IRQ is fairly irrelevant from a setup perspective.

final note: Ensure PnP OS is turned OFF in the bios. This will force the
bios to do IRQ steering rather then trying to hand it over the OS. Linux
works better this way.
