[plug] xrick on RH 7.3

This is a question for RH 7.3 users ONLY (sorry Debian fans). When I tried 
to run xrick on my mate's 7.3 box, it would only run as root, the 
permissions are all stuffed for /tmp. If there are any xrick players about 
who use RH 7.3 (or 7.2 maybe), can you tell me the extra steps you had to 
take? Cheers!
