Good response to Twenty20 computer (272 wds)

KUALA LUMPUR, Sun. - It was a busy day for DRB-Hicom Information
Technologies Sdn Bhd officers manning the National PC Fair and
Exhibition at the Mid Valley MegaMall today. Today was the last day
of the four-day fair and being a weekend, many had visited it for a
closer look at the Twenty20, the national computer which was
launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad on
    Wednesday.

A new (cheaper) PC in town By Ahmad Kushairi (227 wds)

WHAT's in a name? Komnas twenty20 is quite a mouthful but at RM1,899,
[AUD$915] it looks like the answer to the prayers of many Malaysians,
especially from the lower income bracket, for a more affordable
personal computer (PC). There should be little excuse now for not
buying one, especially if you can already afford a television set (or
two) at home, which is more or less within this price range.

Launch of Linux-based PC By Aimie Pardas (208 wds)

DRB-HICOM Information Technologies Sdn Bhd (DH Info Tech) is targeting
to sell 100,000 units of its Komnas twenty20 personal computer (PC) in
the first year of operations. Its sales and distribution head Zakaria
Abdul Rashid said the company will be using the direct business model
to reach out to its target audience.

Young team behind success of twenty20 (393 wds)

KUALA LUMPUR, Sat. - The national computer, Komnas twenty20, which
took only 10 months from the drawing board to launch, owes its
success to a young and energetic Malaysian team. "This team proves
that the younger generation is capable of being involved in a national
project, producing something that is on par with international
standards," said DRB-Hicom Information Technologies Sdn Bhd chairman
    Datuk Yatina Yahya.

Home-bred PC By Azzah Mahidin (941 wds)

THERE it is, a national computer finally. Although not quite 100 per
cent home-made, this 100 per cent home-bred model, with a name quite
cliched by now, symbolises the government's hope for the nation to
    queue-barge into IT-savvy-dome. DRB-Hicom Information Technologies
Sdn Bhd (DHIT), an offshoot of the DRB empire has launched its Intel
Celeron-powered "Komnas twenty 20", its first personal computer
    targeted at the home user.

    Komnas twenty20 a major hit By M. K. Megan (500 wds)

KUALA LUMPUR, Thurs. - The newly-launched national computer Komnas
twenty20 received an overwhelming response with more than 1,100 units
sold on the first day of the exhibition at the Mid Valley Mega Mall
today. Most of the buyers were walk-in customers. More orders are
    expected from pupils.

Cheers; Leon
