IT Service Management Forum Launch of Perth Chapter and
International Presentation

IT Service Management would have to be one of the most discussed topics
in the industry at the moment. As the complexities of information
technology increase and the demand on IT services grows there becomes an
ever increasing need for a common framework and language to deliver
quality IT services.

Kinetic IT has instigated the establishment of the IT Service
Management Forum (ITSMF) local chapter in Perth and as a founding member
we are thrilled to be able to extend an invitation to you to attend the
launch.  At the launch Dave Bingham, DMR Consultant UK will present
"Show me the money". His presentation addresses the question on every
CIO's lips, "Best practice IT Service Management sounds great but can a
hard-nosed business case be made for it?"

The setting up of the local chapter in Perth is a significant
undertaking for Western Australian IT professionals and it is important
that as many local IT professionals are as involved as possible. ITSMF
offers the opportunity for members to access an international membership
body of experienced IT Service Managers, provides a relevant forum in
which to influence industry developments, exchange ideas and share
experiences. Key industry players have already committed to the
inaugural board and include DMR, WA Police Service, Telstra and Kinetic
IT. The first meeting was held on 29 May at the Kinetic IT boardroom and
a commitment to hold future meetings on a monthly basis was agreed.
