Personally if i want to run win95/8 i would use Win4lin although it is
not free. Strangely enough is a quite stable once M$ isn't in charge of
hardware.

    Hey, why not go all out? A linux box running a windows VM running a linux VM
    running a windows VM running an amiga VM running ...
