I know this has been brought up before only to be told it is not possible.

Using the emu-config tools I was able to get my machine to play all 
sounds <yay>

My question is: Why can I now not get my machine to play CDs from the drive?

If  I plug headphones into jack there is sound so I know the analogue 
side is still working.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
