[plug] rpm --rebuild problem

We are trying to build the nvidia_kernel.rpm.src file, but we keep getting 
the error message 'no such file or directory'. The permissions are set to 777 
and we can look through the file with cat, so it is definitely there. Would 
anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing the above error? This is on 
a new install of rh7.3, which looks great by the way. Or should that be 
KDE3.0 looks great :-)
