No time like the present. Could we have a show of hands for a meeting
next Thursday (30 May), the topic being the resuscitation of the WA
Chapter of AUUG, with the purpose of focusing the Chapter's activities
around the activities and needs of Open Systems practitioners (for
want of a better word) in WA?

Venue will have to be decided. My place is too small, even for this
:-)

Leon, would that fit the thinking behind your original suggestion? It
seems to me the AUUG could be a very good organisation to "sponsor",
with its name and/or as exam supervisor, Linux (and other OSS)
certification, and to be home to a register of Linux and other open
systems professionals, etc.
