Yeah, other than /home the various distros would step on each other's
toes. They can't share /usr or / or /var or anything. OK, so maybe /tmp
if you use a ramdisk for it *grin*.

I imagine it is _possible_ to hack the distros to look for most of their
stuff in a prefix off the mounted fs eg /debian /redhat and /usr/debian
/usr/redhat etc but I can't even imagine the amount of work that'd need
and it would gain you very little at all.
