An important thing is remember is that its only software. Don't get
caught up in idealogy. Microsofts business model is selling software
like BP's is selling petrolem (even if they now call themselves Beyond
Petrolem)
If Microsoft ever need to change their business model in order to remain
profitable that would be very interesting but in the meantime they're
not gonna budge and inch for free software except of course stuff like
IE (with a hefty eula) and Windows Media Player which is only free as in
Vodka.
