Greetings,

I'm using woody with KDE 2.2.2.

Logged in as a non-root user (haven't tried root yet I admit) and trying
to access a certain folder inside my home dir using Konqueror the
scroller bar on the left starts to have an epeleptic fit and the window
freezes.

If I open up a folder that doesn't have enough items for a scroll bar it
works fine. I then tried copying the contents of the offending folder
into this folder and the same thing happened.

The offending folder looks like this:

chris at debian:~/workflow/Review$ ls -poa
total 56
drwxr-xr-x 11 chris 4096 Nov 18 12:19 ./
drwxr-xr-x 8 chris 4096 Nov 18 12:45 ../
drwxr-xr-x 2 chris 4096 Aug 11 20:16 April 2002/
drwxr-xr-x 2 chris 4096 Sep 1 14:03 August 2002/

-rw-r--r-- 1 chris 440 Sep 28 21:17 create foundations of knowledge base.txt
drwxr-xr-x 2 chris 4096 Aug 11 20:16 july 2002/
drwxr-xr-x 2 chris 4096 Aug 11 20:16 june 2002/
drwxr-xr-x 2 chris 4096 Aug 11 20:16 may 2002/
-rw-r--r-- 1 chris 403 Aug 27 2001 sort out printing under OOo issue.txt

Also the first time I used cp I forgot to use the -r option so but then
when I did copy the folders the window froze.

I don't know how to kill them but after about 3 minutes they die on
their own.

Thanks,

Chris
