[plug] Weird and I don't know Mandrake 9

I've got a friend with a Mandrake 9.0 install that he is setting up as a
server. He did a "Server Install". The problem he is seeing is that the
system seems to crash when the screen goes into screen save! Can anyone
give some tips of possible causes or where to start looking ?

I am, of course, selling the idea of a debian server ;-) Dunno why I'd be
doing that.
