On my Debian servers I use sendmail with mailscanner and it work well.  You
need to provide a virus scanning app for mailscanner to use, I use F-Prot.

Mail scanner is a Debian package but i recommend using a new version off the
main site if available: http://www.mailscanner.info/  it is very well
documented on the net.  I've had the odd issue installing it correctly from
time to time between different sendmail versions but on the whole it
installs quite easily.
