Greetings plug.

You have all heard about the forthcoming Linux Conference:

Dates: Wednesday 22nd to Saturday 25th January 2003
(seperate mini-confs from Monday 20th)

More Great News!

Sun Microsystems are generously donating one complete pass to
Linux.conf.au 2003 for each state.

The Sun Microsystems Regional Delegate Program

"The package" includes:
* Return economy air ticket from local airport to Perth
* Accommodation at the on-campus lodgings for the duration of the main
conference (excluding mini-confs)
* Professional Registration for Linux.conf.au 2003

Plug has the task of recommending who gets the ticket.
Who would you like to win the package?
It could be really difficult for us to sort out the entries - make it
easy! Put a good submission together and put it in early.  Let us know
who you think shoud win and why.

Maybe you know someone who might not otherwise come along, or someone
who you think it would really give good acknowledgement.

The timetable:

        Nov 30: Competition closes
        Dec 05: PLUG submit 3 hopefuls for LCA to choose a winner from.
        (recommendations only, and only the winner will be publicised)
        Dec 07: LCA to announce the winner from each state

This is the first year that this has been run.  Many thanks to Sun for
making this possible.  Let's give them good value and encourage them to
continue (one of us might win another year when there's further to go)!
