[plug] Doc management system for Linux

Does anyone on the list have any first-hand experience with a document 
management system for Linux?  I've done the google thing, but first-hand 
experience is better, of course.  What I'm after is a DMS that runs on a 
Linux server, accessible from Windows clients, managing Word & excel docs 
with the ability to assign costs & charges, control rights to documents etc.
