What about if they can prove that specific product enhancements to a
card that their selling in America were the result of the reverse
engineering ? (regardless of which country it was performed in)

Anyway this is getting OT...

Your probably right that all kinds of dodgy stuff goes on that we do or
don't hear about and often lawyers wouldn't exist if they're wasn't
dishonest people in the first place.
