[plug] DNS problem has me stumped

I don't know if it sounds like a good idea or not, but my solution would be:
backup /etc/bind/ directory to somewhere.

apt-get remove bind9

followed by:

apt-get install bind9

then copy the database and named.conf files back over

just incase something has gone missing when your system crashed

Worth a try I'd say
