[plug] MySQL installation via RPM gone wrong ... ?

Thanks Leon - there was a version of the server which was running on that
port which wouldn't respond to a 'stop' (for whatever reason!?) ... I killed
this and started as per the doco, and the admin program has appeared ... how
strange!
