Hit sedimentary layer 325464F on my desk today and found some notes taken at
Tony Breeds' talk about 2.6

..
ACPI
POSIX ACLs
sysfs to replace devfs
initramfs to replace initrd
Dave Jones .. "What's new in 2.6"

..

Then it obviously got too interesting to take notes :)

I assume my reference to Dave Jones is a document he
has written / will write / made promise to write /
knows nothing about.

Can anyone shed light on the mystery doc? Google's
friendship has waned today.
