Perhaps that was the primary response. It is most definitely mine. 
Especially since on a number of the lists I read, "I'm having problems 
... I use gentoo .... " is very much out of proportion with the likely 
user base of Gentoo.

Nope, I can't be bothered. Too much time, too little point for me. 
Better things to do than compile my OS from scratch (he says, compiling 
a small OS from scratch for an install system).
