I'm sure this is correct for the AdobePS driver. But if, for
convenience, someone uses a driver that they already have (e.g. an HP
PostScript driver), the .prn file might contain some PCL at its
beginning and at its end (which needs to be trimmed off). OTOH this
might merely have been a hallucination I had. As you mentioned,
hpgltops probably works just fine.
