I couldn't get hte script to work for Debian, i nthe end I extracted the
contents (just run the package with --help or whatever, there's
documentation on how to do it anyway) and then cd'ed into the directory and
did a "make install" from memory. Then I added the folllowing line into my
/etc/modules.conf:
alias char-major-195 nvidia
Actually, that's not true, under Debian you don't edit the file directly,
make a new file under.... modoptions I think it's called (someone will
correct me on all of this), any new file in that directoy, the contents will
be added to modules.conf, so call it anything you like and add that text.
Worked for me, although there's apparently a much easier way to do it
all......
Make lunch, not war.
