ADSL is unlikely to be possible/practical for a hospital - they won't 
have POTS lines going into the rooms, only PABX-controlled lines. You'd 
have to go through the hospital's network (if you are allowed access and 
the wiring is in the right area) or maybe persuade them to use 56k over 
the PABX.

I suspect that a chat to the local network admin would be the first 
thing to do, before making any plans.
