Interesting. I wrote about this only 2 nights ago in a response to Craig
Ringer, but it hasn't appeared in the archives AFAICS.

Anyway, as already mentioned see Applicon in Kewdale for $66 hermes-based
PCMCIA cards, or see www.e3.com.au for links to other linux-friendly
wireless sellers.

I've had good mileage out of JMCS (http://www.jmcs.net.au/wireless.html)
