Hi Chris

Well, the $10 desktop machines have a case, m/b, cpu, 32MB memory (mostly),
power supply, floppy drive (almostly) and floppy cable and we throw in a
_free_ pci video card ;-P

I think the RecycleIT people have video cards starting at $22. I'll let
you do the maths :-)

Our experience is that many of the video cards are S3. If that suits your
multi-monitor project you're set to go. We didn't note the type of video
on the label on the outside and I'll be slapping wrists if people try to
dismantle machines. Peek through the holes but otherwise WYSIWYG.
