[plug] Whats a good xml editor for linux?

to go through to the list. I'm experiencing lots of packet loss between
points on the UWA campus and the resulting sporadic shell session is
kind confusing me (my fingers and my eyes are feeding my brain with
different information about the "current state" of my mail client)!
