[plug] [OT] CF Card Reader dead

Using RH8 I did the following:
plugged in the CF and card
restarted the PC
It auto detected the usb port and reader
ran the command "mount" and saw usbdevfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbdevfs (rw)
ran the command mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usb and it mounted the device.

I had read somewhere that sometime you have to reboot the PC to get it to read the device.  No pretty but it works.
