[plug] evolution e-mail allocation problem

I've been getting a message that the I've exceeded the storage allocation when ever evolution tries to bring down new mail.  Where can I change this if it's even available?
when I do a df-h, I have anywhere between 1.4G to 12G available on most partitions except that of /boot.  So free disk space cannot be the issue.
