IBM and MS had split over their OS/2 development by late1990. IBM went on
to release OS/2 1.30 in '91 and OS/2 2.0 in '92 (2.10 in '93). The only
things MS released in this timeframe was win 3.1 and 3.11 (the one written
to break OS/2's ability to run win 3.x in its own virtual dos box - so the
win app could crash all it liked and not bring down the OS).

I wish there was a WM half as good as OS/2's wps (Work Place Shell). I live
in hope of IBM porting it (but I don't think it likely).
