I own the 1st edition (424 pages) of this book and often consider 'upgrading' to the 4th edition (944 pages) of the same book, but never have a pocket full of money when I see it. Being a person who is not regularly sat in front of a linux box and writing/running scripts etc, I find this book to be one of my most referred to.
