What sort of space will a Debian Mirror take up?

I'm thinking of completing one for work, as I've used Debian over the last
few months for teaching purposes (cruel man I am did not allow a GUI), and
wish to put it onto a local system to speed up access and updates that the
students may wish to complete to their development systems.
