3.0 is fine. I had a few problems getting it going on my Debian system,
so i liked the fact it came standard with Mandrake 9.

I couldn't imagine not using apt here at home, but Mandrake does look
very polished.

Thanks for the help. I will take both with me. It has been a while since
I have played with a different distribution and I would like to have a
look at both of them.
