I use putty at home for my wife's computer. Used Putty keygen and
authorized_keys so she doesn't have to enter a password, changed the
icon and run it minimised, all transparent.I even have a disconnect icon
and a check status icon which just pings my server at work. Took about
10 mins all together.
I use the same tactic on my Linux box except i have a script called
ConnectInternet which essentially is:
#!/bin/bash
ssh root at gateway pon

Hey guys,
I've got a Windoze box set up behind my firewall for my girlfriend to use,
and I want to allow her to start / restart / stop the ppp connection on the
firewall box from her machine.
Anyone got some suggestions as to how I can go about this? (It needs to be a
point, click, bash PC with rock kind of solution ;)
cheers,
Anthony
