Well all it has been up til now is taking peoples membership at meetings.

However, even if I'm not part of the committee I would like to see the
treasurer (with help where required) get PLUG a bank account.  This has been
on my list of jobs to do but until recently it wasn't high on the list.

Really it's a simple matter of:
a) accounting for monies in and out
b) being able to tell the PLUG committee (and members) the total value
   of PLUG's assets.

I think it would be wise If the secretary took over(joined in) the accepting
of membership fees.

Having said that the exact role of the treasurer depends on the direction the
committee pushes PLUG.

The only caveat, is that you must be over 18 to be the treasurer.
