[plug] changing refresh rate

Being a total Linux desktop n00b, I decided to load up Red Hat 8.0 in
full blown GUI style this morning onto my main computer.

But one thing is annoying me, I can't seem to find anywhere to change
the refresh rate.  I'm currently running in 1600x1200 @ 60Hz, but I want
to run in 85Hz as 60Hz is flickery as all hell and is starting to give
me a headache already.  I'm running a ViewSonic P90f monitor on an ATi
Radeon 9700 Pro graphics card.  They are both fully capable of running
that resolution/refresh rate and beyond.
