Anne and I apologise for not attending the AGM.

Regarding the election of office bearers, we support my previous
suggestion; especially Tony BT as President, as he has consecutive years
of experience as a good office bearer of PLUG, and would, we believe,
make a good president.

Also, I do not know whether it was my seconding of Clare Johnstone that
confirmed her candidacy for Secretary, but, if it was, due to my
absence, and the problem that that brings, regarding the seconding,
another seconder may be needed.

A suggestion that I have, for the General Business section of the AGM,
is that the incoming secretary do a Google search for PLUG + Linux +
Western Australia, to find all the references to PLUG (I think, from
memory, I found about 64) on the Internet, and check the contact details
(one had Ian Kent as the contact and President), and send emails to the
web masters of the various referencing sites, requesting that they
update their contact and other details for their PLUG listings.

>From advice from Tony BT, there is an email address,
committee at plug.linux.org.au, which should be used as the contact
address, rather than a person.
